A variety taken from the California native.  Glossy green foliage, and electric blue and violet changing to more of a pink color as the flowers age.  Flowers from spring thru summer, and sometimes fall.  1-2' ht x 2-3' wd.  Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.  Full sun.  Drought tolerant, but prefers moderate watering.  UC Davis Arboretum All-Star.
