These exquisite stone flooring, landscaping and veneer products bring together two distant cultures—traditional Asian craftsmanship and contemporary Western home design.
Exact replicas of natural stones used for building, cast in flexible molds and hand colored with iron oxide pigments. Made of lightweight aggregate materials, the veneers were approximately one-quarter the weight of full-thickness stone and could be adhered to most wall surfaces.

Ceramic planters are especially suited to patios and other paved areas. Even a small yard can be turned into a classically inspired haven with a few ceramic urns.
The best and most distinguished ceramic planters do not even need plants and flowers in to make them an eye catching addition to the home or garden decor. The designs and artwork can be so distinctive, you may even want to avoid planting trailing plants which may cover even a small part of a design.
Glazed pots come in a wide range of colors, textures and styles. They're good for plants that like to be moist or those that like to sit in water as you'll lose less moisture around the roots from evaporation through the pot or from drainage. They're a good choice for people who find that they don't water their houseplants enough.
When selecting a location for your fountain, make sure an electrical outlet with a G.F.I. (Ground fault interrupter) is nearby. All fountains need a concrete foundation of 4 to 6 inches in depth and larger than the width of the base (free standing fountains), and almost as wide as the largest bowl or basin. Water in the valley is very hard, so calcium deposits are normal. At Silverado Building Materials we carry safe chemicals that will help with calcium and algae. Bleach will harm the finish and is not safe for birds and animals. To prevent your fountain's pump from clogging, purchase a fish net from your local pet supply store, to strain or fish out any falling debris from trees. Winter time is a good time to drain, clean and dry your fountain. Cover fountains with a fountain cover. A cold freeze can crack cement bowls. We offer a wide variety of fountains. When you visit Silverado, be sure to listen to the fountain you're considering. Each has a distinctive sound, and some are silent.
Since 1949 Al's Garden Art is renowned for authentic, handcrafted and finished fountains and art sought after by residential and commercial clients alike. Come to Silverado to see why.
